Get the MSC ecolabel on your menu, and customers can be sure that your fish is independently certified as sustainable
And it's never been easier.
The ROC Group is a new way for restaurants, caterers, take aways and cafes to get MSC 'Chain of Custody' certification, and therefore be able to use the MSC's distinctive blue ecolabel on menus.
The process is quite simple; first you need to to download and read through the ROC Group Handbook, which is specially designed for restaurants and explains how to ensure MSC certified fish is traceable through your business.
You can then apply for certification by completing and returning the Application Form, and you'll be contacted to arrange an audit. Once the audit is completed sucessfully, you will be added to the Group, and given a unique Chain of Custody number. Then you are officially certified! You will also be sent a Lisence by the MSC to grant permission to use the MSC trademarks.
The Group manager will be on hand to provide guidance through the process, and in helping to publicise your success.
